I'm not the greatest pixeller in the world (why do you think I tool? XD) so bare with the pallettes I have used and all other pixel things XD.

Thanks to ~F2FStocks and *SenshiStock for the pose references used in this tutorial.

This is really nice, but i'm not happy with the eyes.
The eyes are like.. Raccoon eyes.

I'll ruin everything good.
Or I'll at least try to.
Yeah I'm not the best pixeller ever... like I said I'm a tooler by trade but I pixel my bases so everyone can use the,. I usually fix my own eyes a lot with my tools when I doll on my bases, if you decide to use a base it's up to you to make the face look like you want it to.
I love this =O

Also, I totally agree about the face thing... so many dollers won't use bases because of the face like... D= Just edit it, damn.

N please
Thank you for this, Pyrochan. This is what the dolling community needs - simple, explicit instructions that really stress that YES, people can do this WITHOUT tracing! It's always nice to see how experienced, talented artists do their work.

Alice owns you.
Thanks XD In actual fact I rarely use direct references at all but I kind of piece together in my head from things I've seen all over the place but this is a simplification of what goes on up there *pokes grey matter*
Yayness! Spread the word!

Thanks for the journal! I'm going to continue with the positive basemaking attitude, and maybe do a quick one on how to draw your bases for the people who don't have layers programmes.
